INSTALLATIONS & REPAIRS

CUSTOM INSTALLATION

The custom installation process typically starts with either an in store or onsite consultation. During the consultation we will discuss customer needs, the system budget, and the overall goals of the project. Our ability to determine the best possible devices for a project depends on our understanding of the construction. If the consultation isn’t done onsite, the next step is almost always a site visit. Because every room is built differently, our installers need to evaluate how to properly integrate the equipment with your room’s construction characteristics. This step includes everything from evaluating technical considerations (such as wiring and room structure) to studying a room’s aesthetic and acoustic environment. Since no two buildings are exactly the same, this process is paramount to our ability to offer the highest degree of acoustic response and integration. Ultimately, this information allows us to custom design the system and put together a proposal. We often demonstrate much of the equipment in the proposal here at Wilson Audio’s retail showroom.

For clients who are building or have new and open construction – the next step is usually the rough in/prewire portion of the project. During this stage of the process, we install wiring, rough-in brackets, and any necessary infrastructure. We supply custom baffles that not only improve the response of installed speakers, but also reinforce the rigidity of the wall and speaker. Basically, the speakers become part of the structure. The wiring we utilize will provide specific sonic characteristics that will compliment the chosen electronics used. Our team has the experience necessary to guarantee installed products will successfully interact with plumbing, electricity, data, and all the other components of a buildings infrastructure. The finish work is scheduled once all other construction has been completed. We are typically one of the last companies to be on-site. The finish work includes installation of any remaining equipment, system calibration and optimization, inspection of functionality, and an operational tutorial for the client.

We will work with you, your architect, designer, or contractor to blend Performance, Style, & Technology creating a fantastic system for your home or business.
